Who We Are
Indigenous Commitment
Genuine Indigenous leadership in management consulting — grounded in heritage, not marketing.
Our Heritage
Meriam Consulting Group is proudly Torres Strait Islander-owned. Our name honours the Meriam people of Mer Island (Murray Island) in the Torres Strait — the traditional homeland of Eddie Koiki Mabo, whose historic legal case established the principle of Native Title in Australia.
Our Director, Isaiah Dau, is a relative of Eddie Koiki Mabo, both tracing their roots back to Mer Island. This heritage is not a marketing exercise — it is the foundation of who we are and how we work.
Mer Island
Birthplace of Australia's Native Title recognition. Homeland of the Meriam people.
